Bio

Brent Young- Special Teams Coordinator/9th Defensive Line

This is Coach Young’s 14th year coaching and teaching social studies at RHS.
This is his 7th season as Special Teams Coordinator.

Coach Young is in his 25th year coaching and teaching. He has previous stops in
Tyler, TX (Legacy HS); Columbus, GA (Shaw HS); and Hobbs, NM (Hobbs HS).

Coach Young graduated from Waxahachie High School, Navarro College, Texas State
University and received a master’s degree in Educational Administration from The University of the Southwest.

Coach Young’s wife, Amanda, teaches first grade at Celia Hays Elementary. She is an amazing teacher, mom, and wife!

Coach Young’s son, Landry, is a 9th grader at Rock9. He loves his little sister, video games, and Chiloso!

Coach Young’s daughter, Bexley Kate, is a two year old. She loves her Mama, broccoli and the Jackets!
