Bio

Brent Young- Special Teams Coordinator/ LB’s Coach

This is Coach Young’s 13th year coaching LBs and teaching social studies at RHS.
This is his 6th season as Special Teams Coordinator.

Coach Young is in his 24th year coaching and teaching. He has previous stops in
Tyler, TX (Legacy HS); Columbus, GA (Shaw HS); and Hobbs, NM (Hobbs HS).

Coach Young graduated from Waxahachie High School, Navarro College, Texas State
University and received a master’s degree in Educational Administration from The University of the Southwest.

Coach Young’s wife, Amanda, teaches first grade at Celia Hays Elementary. She is an amazing teacher, mom, and wife!

Coach Young’s son, Landry, is an 8th grader at Williams Middle School. He loves his little sister, video games, and Chiloso!

Coach Young’s daughter, Bexley Kate, is a one year old. She loves her Mama, mac and cheese, and the Jackets!
