Bio

David Lynch – Defensive Line - Coach Lynch is entering his 19th season as a varsity football coach and his second here in Rockwall. Prior to becoming a Rockwall Yellow Jacket, Coach Lynch served as Defensive Coordinator/Assistant Head Coach at North Mesquite and Palestine Westwood High Schools. Coach Lynch has also coached at Mesquite Poteet, Lake Highlands, and Lucas Lovejoy. During his coaching career, Coach Lynch has coached in 16 playoff victories and has produced 19 Defensive Linemen/Linebackers who have went on to play college football. He attended Lone Oak HS, where he was an all-state offensive tackle and a state qualifier powerlifter his junior and senior years. He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M Commerce in History. He and his wife Bethany, who is a Veterinarian Science teacher at North Mesquite High School have three children, Lily (10), Tanner (8), and Isabel (6). David and Bethany have been married for seven years.
