Steve Bridges

Bio

Coach Bridges is entering his 19th season at Rockwall High School. This will be his 39th year in the coaching profession. He began his coaching career in 1987 at Canton High School. At Canton, he coached football, track, basketball, and tennis. From 1996 to 2000, he coached at Hughes Springs. In Hughes Springs, he coached football, girls basketball, and tennis. He coached at South Garland High School from 2000 – 2007. He has worked at Rockwall High School since 2007; coaching football and softball.

Coach Bridges graduated from East Texas Baptist University. He attended Fort Worth Southwest High School.

He has been married to Alisha Bridges for 30 years. Alisha is a Business teacher for Rockwall ISD at Gene Burton College and Career Academy. They have two children. Bailee is a graduate from the University of Arkansas and Trenton is a graduate of Collin College.
