WILEY VONNER – Corners/Recruiting Coordinator - Coach Vonner is entering his 19th season as a varsity football coach and his second here in Rockwall. Prior to becoming a Rockwall Yellow Jacket, Coach Vonner served as the North Mesquite Defensive Coordinator for five years (2018 – 2022) and Recruiting Coordinator. Coach Vonner also had a tenure at Mesquite Horn (2008 – 2018) where he served as the Mesquite Horn Corners Coach and Secondary Coach for 10 years, both Varsity and JV Baseball Coach while also doing recruiting . During his tenure at Horn, Coach Vonner was able to reach the playoffs in all ten seasons and produced numerous collegiate defensive backs. He attended Winona HS, where he was an all-district quarterback and all-district baseball player. He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M Commerce and his master’s from Lamar University in Education Administration. He and his wife Tiffany, who is a Kidney Transplant Coordinator at UT-Southwestern have three children, Kason (11), Emory (9), and Teagan (6). Wiley and Tiffany have been married for fourteen years.
